The Displacement Collective is a multidisciplinary studio working at the intersection of art and technology.
Our practice is centered on the theme of Displacement, and the outcomes generated as humans, objects, and narratives shift between states, spaces, and dimensions. We view art as the ultimate laboratory; a space to experiment with new media and emerging tech as tools for spatial and sensory exploration. Through practice-based research and creative execution, we aim to move beyond digital novelty to create thought-provoking experiences and spatial narratives, utilizing real-time interaction, photogrammetry and motion capture to bridge the gap between physical reality and digital space.
